BTW, "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero's may be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

If you really want to give me a hard-on you'll downwload it for $0.77 on Ubuntu One Music store through Rhythmbox in the 10.04 release.

And I know all of you really want to give me a hard-on. So, that's that.

I found Jesus!

You should too!

He was living in my distortion pedal! Seriously, this recording is only of the input from two piezo transducers connected to some wire coat hangers mixed and sent through my modified Boss DS-1 through an un-modified phaser pedal. The radio transmission you can hear is of AM 1160 and was picked up when I came in contact with the breakout box on the distortion pedal. I made a number of recordings of myself banging on my workbench and the breakout box and this is the result. REPENT! THE RAPTURE APPROACHES FROM WITHIN!

Jesus is in the Distortion.mp3

In case you were in a coma (maybe because you couldn't afford the outrageous cost of extremely limited insurance or didn't have an employer that gave it to you or had a pre-existing coma-causing condition that was not covered?), the health care bill passed.

I've been meaning to find time to post this gem from The Onion for a while now.

I know times are tough. Money is tight. I eat macaroni product three meals a day, and shave with the same razor until my face and head bleed.

Wikipedia is currently running a fund-raiser. I won't, for once, wax philosophical about it, but in my opinion, and I don't think that it is too difficult to agree, but I think that the idea of Wikipedia, "the free and open sharing of knowledge", is important, and I think that they have done a very good job of converging on this abstraction in reality. There is more to be done, good criticism, and there will always be vandals, but again, in my opinion, this is something very important and good that has been, and is going fast in the right direction.

Anyway, if you feel similarly please consider making a $20 donation.
